Larry Edwin Craig was born on July 20, 1945. A Republican, he represented Idaho in the United States Senate since 1991. He also served in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Idaho's 1st congressional district, from 1981 to 1991. Craig has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Rifle Association since 1983. In 2007, Craig was chosen to be inducted into the Idaho Hall of Fame.
